Don Ressler: The Man behind JustFab’s Success

During the campaign, Co-CEO Adam Goldenberg stated that the company created JustFab to offer amazing fashion at an affordable price to all women. Co-CEO Don Ressler said he believes that all women need to feel confident in their clothing. He also believes that everyone deserves to feel and look good, regardless of his or her size or shape.

JustFab’s Funding History

Don Ressler co-founded the company with Adam Goldenberg in March 2010. Kimora Lee joined JustFab Inc. as the creative director and president. The Matrix Partners, a venture capital company, funded JustFab with about $33 million. In 2012, JustFab received another $76 million from Matrix Partners, Technology Crossover, Intelligent Beauty and Rho Ventures. These funds enabled the fashion company to expand to other countries including Canada, Germany, and the UK.

Acquisitions of other brands

JustFab bought FabKids in early 2013. The company deals with children’s fashion. Despite the close similarities in the names of the two companies, they had no association before the acquisition. In May 2013, JustFab acquired FabShoes, which was part of its international expansion plan. The company also purchased ShoeDazzle, a rival shoe company.

JustFab’s CEOs announced in 2013 that the company has closed $40 million in funding round. The funds were intended to help the firm venture into new product categories and boost international growth. In the same year, Adam Goldberg, Kate Hudson, and Don Ressler founded an athletic wear brand called Fabletics.
