New Executive Team for InnovaCare Health

Innovacare Health recently hired three new executives to their team. These professionals each come with outstanding understanding, knowledge and expertise in high rated management, insurance and accounting positions. Jonathan Meyers, Penelope Kokkinides and Mike Sortino are the three executives that Rick Shinto is excited ot have join his team. Jonathan Meyers is the new chief actuary officer for Innovacare Health. Previously he was employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield Horizon as an actuary officer for medicare and medicaid and he was an actuary officer for HealthCare Partners in New York. Penelope Kokkinides has over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry specializing in medicare and medicade. Her new role with Innovacare Health is chief administrative officer.

Additionally, Penelope has experience with developing clinical programs and previously held the title of executive vice president and CEO at Centerlight HealthCare. The third member of this new executive team at Innovacare Health is Mike Sorinto. He is the company’s new chief accounting officer. Mike held several executive positions prior to his employment with Innovacare Health; he worked at Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance Company as a controller and spent over five years employed with HCC Specialty as a chief financial officer. Mike has been working within the insurance and reinsurance industry for over two decades and spent more than five years in the public accounting profession.

Rick Shinto is the chief executive officer and president of InnovaCare Health. He is pleased with these three new executives as they each bring something new to offer to his business. In addition to Rich Shinto’s executive team, his co-founder and chairman Daniel E. Straus is happy about the new turn of InnovaCare Health is taking with adding these three executives to their business. Daniel Straus is an investor for various healthcare establishments such as assisted living, hospice and institutional care facilities. Rich Shinto has been working with clinical and operational healthcare for over twenty years. Dr. Shinto began his career in medicine as an internist and pulmonologist. He was the president and CEO of Avita Health prior to its sale in 2012, after that he took on the role of president and CEO of InnovaCare Health.
