Michael Polk Appointed Interim CEO of Implus Corporation

Durham, N.C., Feb. 10, 2020 – Implus Corporation, a leader
in athletic, fitness, and outdoor accessories, has officially announced the
appointment of Michael Polk as Interim Chief Executive Officer. This transition
follows the departure of CEO Seth Richards and President Todd Vore, who are
moving on to pursue other opportunities after over two decades of leadership. 

Michael Polk brings a wealth of experience to Implus. Before joining the company, Polk
served as President and CEO of Newell Brands from 2011 to 2019. His extensive
career also includes executive roles at Unilever and Kraft, and he began his
professional journey at Procter & Gamble. This diverse background in the
consumer products sector positions him well to steer Implus through its next phase of growth. 

Dave Bordeau, Chairman of the Implus Board of Directors, expressed gratitude towards Richards
and Vore for their significant contributions. “We celebrate their

Polk also serves on the Boards of Directors for Colgate-Palmolive Company and Logitech
International. His academic credentials include a Master of Business
Administration from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree in
operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University. His
appointment as Interim CEO is expected to harness his extensive knowledge and
leadership qualities to further Implus’ mission of promoting healthy and active lifestyles.
